Tour Sinai Dessert - Storytelling workshop with Photographer Frits Meyst

About Frits Meyst

Frits is a visual storyteller with more than 30 years experience in photography. He started his career as a photojournalist and documentary photographer in the Middle East, publishing in Time, The Guardian, Le Monde, Stern, etc. Then he ventured into travel and adventure stories for the international travel media such as National Geographic Traveler. As a travel photographer he adapted to writing and filming. Next came his interest in multimedia publishing. Combining different media into a dynamic reader experience rather than a 2 dimensional publication, Meyst has found his niche.

FRITS MEYST ABOUT THIS TOUR & VISUAL STORYTELLING PROJECT
“Traveling to many countries, there is nothing that fascinates me more than experiencing other cultures. My love for remote areas generally brings me to stunning regions. The people I meet there, usually live on the edge of poverty, yet they are among the most welcoming people I have ever met. There are many community based tourism projects with little or no budget to promote themselves. That’s how my idea for this project came about.”
